SecuritiesTransferHub

Standard, secure securities messaging for T+1 operation

STH (Securities Transfer Hub) is a central communication service that provides structured, encrypted, auditable and automated data exchange between fund managers, investment service providers and related market participants.

Goals:
  • Preparing for EU T+1 securities settlement.
  • Unified data model and standard interface.
  • Secure, traceable, encrypted message trafficing.
  • Faster onboarding with optional STH client.
  • Modern, scalable, high-availability architecture.

The core issue

The current securities market communication is not uniform: it is based on bilateral agreements, PDFs sent via email, and manual processing. All of this is vulnerable, difficult to audit, slow, and pose increased risk in the T+1 settlement environment.

Market and regulatory background

ESMA aims to harmonise the European market by introducing the T+1 settlement cycle. This requires fast, standardised, automated and auditable communication between market participants.
